Job summary

ODS (O’Dwyer Steel) is seeking a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to prepare robust estimates for modular, industrial, commercial and offsite projects in Ireland. You will support post-tender commercial controls, payments, valuations, variations and final accounts, ensuring costs align with budgets and client expectations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field and at least 3 years’ experience in construction or engineering, with advantageous knowledge of

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in construction or engineering sectors.
• Knowledge of structural steel, cladding, modular buildings is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare thorough estimates on new projects.
• Read tender instructions, drawings and specs to extract quantities.
• Measure quantities from design drawings and calculate costs for labour, materials, and transport.
