Catalyx is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our client based in Longford on a permanent basis. The role involves commercial management, cost planning, budgeting, procurement and contractual administration across projects in a manufacturing environment.

The candidate will work closely with Production, Engineering, Design, Finance and Site teams to ensure projects stay within budget and commercial risks are managed effectively. Experience in modular/offsite construction is advantageous.

Formación

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics is required.
• Significant post-qualification QS experience in construction/modular/offsite environments.
• Experience managing the commercial lifecycle from initial costing to final account.
• Strong procurement and subcontractor management experience.
• Advanced Excel and numerical skills for cost models and cash flow.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets and Bills of Quantities.
• Develop cost models including labour, materials and subcontractor costs.
• Provide commercial input during design, including value engineering.
• Maintain cost databases and historical project cost data.
• Lead tender preparation, pricing and commercial negotiations.
• Manage project budgets, valuations and forecasts across active projects.
• Produce regular cost and commercial reports and ensure documentation is complete.
