Job summary

Clancy in Dublin is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial delivery on a major project in the Dublin region. You will own cost reporting, manage budgets and stakeholder relationships, and collaborate with the Managing QS to ensure commercial success.

The role requires 8–10 years of senior QS experience with a degree in Quantity Surveying, strong technical and communication skills, and proficiency with QS software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with Tier 1/2 Irish contractor (residential or large-scale projects)
• Strong commercial management and reporting skills
• Degree qualified e.g. BSc in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficient in relevant QS software and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for commercial management and reporting on the project
• Work independently while collaborating closely with the Managing QS
• Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure clear communication across the project team
• Support project delivery by monitoring costs, budgets, and financial performance
• Prepare and review commercial documentation, including valuations, claims, and variations
