Job summary

STRIVE Search is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for an infrastructure project in North Dublin. The selected candidate will oversee commercial management, budgets, and cost control, interfacing with project teams to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery.

Requirements include 5+ years in senior QS, strong contract knowledge, and a degree in Quantity Surveying or related field. North Dublin project with a Tier 1 contractor background.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' Senior Quantity Surveying experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and commercial management.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and analytical skills.
• Degree/qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage project costs, budgets, valuations and variations.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, packages and accounts.
• Prepare commercial reports, forecasts and cost-value reconciliations.
• Manage change, claims, risks and final accounts.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Support the wider project team throughout the project lifecycle.
