Gi Group Recruitment is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join an established Dublin construction team. This opportunity is open to intermediate and senior candidates who want to advance their careers and contribute to the successful commercial delivery of projects.

The role covers managing project costs, procurement, subcontractor packages and financial reporting, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently while maintaining strong commercial control.

Qualifications

• Degree or relevant third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of contracts, procurement and commercial management.

Responsabilités

• Manage project costs, budgets and financial reporting across the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and review cost plans, valuations, forecasts and reports.
• Handle subcontractor procurement, tendering, appointments and payments.
• Evaluate quotations to ensure value for money and negotiate variations and final accounts.
• Monitor expenditure and identify commercial risks with cost-control measures.
• Prepare interim valuations and payment applications.
