Job summary

RECRUITERS in Cork is seeking an experienced Senior Project Scheduler/Consultant to join a global life sciences organisation on an initial 12-month contract with extension potential.

Hybrid role in a regulated pharma environment. You will lead scheduling and controls using Primavera P6 and MS Project, delivering reports and guiding cross-functional teams to ensure on-schedule project delivery.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience in project scheduling/planning within pharma, biotech or life sciences.
• Strong skills in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project for complex projects.
• Proven project controls, forecasting and schedule analysis experience.
• Excellent stakeholder communication across multi-project environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and analyse detailed project schedules to support delivery.
• Provide project controls, progress analysis and schedule performance reporting.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Scheduler/Consultant to join a leading global life sciences organisation in Cork on an initial 12-month contract, with a strong opportunity for extension.

This is a hybrid role, supporting complex technical and operational projects within a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment. You will provide expert scheduling and project controls support, working closely with Project Directors, Project Managers and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure effective project planning and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain and analyse detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.


• Provide project controls, progress analysis and schedule performance reporting.


• Support resource planning, capacity analysis and project forecasting.


• Identify schedule risks, constraints, critical paths and potential delays.


• Prepare progress reports, S-curves, dashboards and management information.


• Work closely with project teams and stakeholders to drive schedule alignment and delivery.


• Provide expert scheduling input across multiple projects and support project governance.

Key Requirements:

• 8+ years' experience in project scheduling/planning, ideally within pharma, biotech or life sciences.


• Strong experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.


• Proven project controls, resource planning and schedule analysis experience.


• Excellent stakeholder and communication skills.


• Experience working across complex, multi-project environments.
