Job summary

QCS Staffing in Cork, Ireland, seeks a Senior PMO Scheduler for an initial 12-month contract in a life sciences setting. You will develop and maintain project schedules, coordinate with Project Leads, and manage resource loading and demand forecasting to ensure on-time delivery.

You will collaborate across functions to maintain schedule integrity, handle change requests, and monitor project performance. Prior experience in operational projects and strong communication are essential for success

Qualifications

• Extensive experience scheduling technical or operational project portfolios.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Project and other scheduling tools; Planview experience preferred.
• Experience supporting operational projects rather than capital projects is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze resource capacity, demand forecasting, and project performance.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules in Microsoft Project, ensuring accurate tracking of activities, milestones, and dependencies.
• Support Project Leads/Managers in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project activities from initiation through completion.
• Manage resource loading and demand forecasting, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective project communication.
• Process schedule change requests and maintain project schedule integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
