Job summary

Fastnet is seeking a Senior Project Scheduling & Controls Consultant in Cork for a 12-month contract. The role covers delivery of project scheduling, controls, forecasting, governance reporting and SRA across the Technical Agenda portfolio within Technical Development Services.

Responsibilities include developing integrated project schedules using Microsoft Project, Planview, producing schedules, dependency mapping, and critical path analyses.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' experience delivering scheduling and controls across technical or operational portfolios.
  • Degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Project Management or a related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and optimise integrated project schedules across the Technical Agenda portfolio.
  • Deliver planning, scheduling and project controls services using Microsoft Project, Planview and other relevant tools.
  • Produce and maintain project schedules, milestone plans, dependency mapping and critical path analyses.
  • Deliver resource capacity versus demand forecasting and utilisation analysis across the portfolio.
  • Generate schedule performance reporting, including Actual versus Planned reporting, schedule variance analysis, trend reporting and S-curve analysis.
  • Conduct schedule risk assessments and impact analyses, identifying risks, constraints and mitigation opportunities.
  • Deliver governance reporting packs, project status reporting and portfolio performance dashboards.
  • Develop and maintain project controls standards, scheduling methodologies, templates and reporting processes.
  • Provide schedule optimisation recommendations to improve project execution and portfolio performance.
  • Maintain portfolio-level risk and dependency registers and undertake associated impact assessments.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in project scheduling, planning and governance processes.
  • Deliver project controls documentation, analysis and reporting outputs in line with agreed project and portfolio requirements.

Our client is looking for a Senior Project Scheduling & Controls Consultant on a 12 month contract.
