Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project planning or project controls within construction, MEP, data centres, or major infrastructure.
• Relevant third-level qualification (Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management) or equivalent.
• Advanced expertise in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project with strong Excel data-handling skills.
• Strong working knowledge of earned value tracking, labour loading, and construction methodology.
• Confident communicator capable of coordinating with main contractors and presenting to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Track weekly planned vs. actual progress, monitor productivity metrics, and identify critical path variances.

• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior planning team members.

We are hiring a Senior Project Planner to take ownership of complex, multidisciplinary construction programmes across high-growth sectors, including data centres, MEP, and large-scale industrial projects.

Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and baseline detailed construction programmes from high-level milestones and design packages.
• Build fully integrated, labour-loaded schedules, S-curves, histograms, and look-ahead programmes using Primavera P6 / MS Project.
• Track weekly planned vs. actual progress, monitor productivity metrics, and identify critical path variances.
• Collaborate closely with Commercial, Design, and Site teams to align scheduling with budgets and procurement strategies.
• Lead schedule risk analysis, early-warning identification, and recovery programme development.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior planning team members.

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in project planning or project controls within construction, MEP, data centres, or major infrastructure.
• Relevant third-level qualification (Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management) or equivalent trade background with proven planning experience.
• Advanced expertise in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project, alongside strong Excel data-handling skills.
• Strong working knowledge of earned value tracking, labour loading, and construction methodology.
• Confident communicator capable of challenging assumptions, coordinating with main contractors, and presenting to key stakeholders.
