Job summary

PE Global is recruiting a Senior Project Manager – Global Supply Chain Transformation for a biopharmaceutical client in Blanchardstown. The role is a 12-month contract, leading complex cross-functional supply chain projects and strategic initiatives across global sites.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in supply chain and project management, with PMP/APICS preferred, and a track record of stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and driving change in fast-paced biotech environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, life sciences or business required; Master’s preferred.
• 6+ years end-to-end supply chain experience, preferably biotech/pharma.
• 6+ years project management experience; PMP or APICS preferred.
• Advanced leadership competencies and cross-functional influence.
• Ability to work autonomously with urgency in a fast-paced environment.
• Expertise in multiple supply chain capability areas with interdependencies.

Responsibilities

The Role

Job Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of multiple, complex cross-functional supply chain projects/programs.
• Support development of robust business cases with interdependencies and a clear value proposition.
• Support strategic initiatives, including annual portfolio planning and the Polaris program.
• Facilitate governance meetings, executive sponsor sessions, and steering committees with clear agendas, priorities, and objectives to achieve quick decisions and robust outcomes.
• Ensure utilization of standard program management processes, governances, and systems including GPSiPlan as the system of record.
• Develop and implement risk management and mitigation strategies at the program and/or project level.
• Influence key stakeholders and manage program and/or project communications.
• Champion change management strategies and foster high-performance, diverse teams.
• Evaluate and recommend new digital tools and technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure program delivery is on time, within scope, and budget.
• Proactively drive scenario analyses and strategic recommendations for management.
• Inspire and motivate teams, providing feedback and coaching for leadership development.

Educations & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, life sciences and/or business required, with a Master’s degree preferred.
• 6+ years of end-to-end supply chain experience, preferably in biotech/pharma
• 6+ years of project management experience, with a PMP or APICS certification preferred.
• Advanced leadership competencies, including strategic thinking, executive communication, and cross-functional influence.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, manage multiple priorities, and work autonomously with a high level of accountability and sense of urgency.
• Expert in two or more supply chain capability/process areas; able to articulate interdependencies.
• Proficient in leveraging digital tools and systems (e.g., GPSiPlan, Microsoft Project, PowerBI) to enable operational excellence.
• Up to date/champion on emerging technologies and digital trends relevant to supply chain transformation, including AI.
• Expertise in risk management, analytical problem-solving, and decision-making at the program and/or project level.
• Ability to manage resources, resolve conflicts, and drive results across global teams.
• Experience leading cross-functional, multi-site, global teams.
• This position may require up to 20% travel.
