Job summary

Vertiv in Letterkenny, Ireland, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead key electrical/engineering projects from concept through handover. You will work with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will own project scope, schedules and costs, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, monitor risks, and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years' experience in a project management role (construction, engineering, or similar environment).
• Experience managing subcontractors, site activities, and project programmes.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Commercially aware with experience in budgeting and cost control.
• Ability to lead and coordinate teams effectively.
• Experience in electrical, M&E, or technical projects would be an advantage, but not essential.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own workload.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from inception through design review, procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover.
• Coordinate project teams, subcontractors, and resources to ensure delivery in line with programme and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress, identifying risks or issues and implementing effective solutions.
• Attend site and client meetings to ensure progress is maintained and expectations are met.
• Manage procurement processes, including requisitioning, tracking delivery, and maintaining audit trails.
• Liaise with contractors and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery and clear communication.
• Track project costs, expenditure, and performance, maintaining strong commercial control.
• Take responsibility for overall project delivery, including financial and management aspects.
