Job summary

E‑Frontiers in Ireland is seeking two Senior Project Managers to lead CSA projects on major engineering and construction sites. The roles require strong engineering backgrounds and proven delivery of complex projects from mobilisation through to handover.

The positions are fully site-based in Co. Kildare with 5 days on site per week; you will manage multidisciplinary teams, coordinate design and construction activities, and maintain safety, quality and programme standards on high-value projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Significant experience as a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager within construction/engineering.
• Experience delivering CSA packages/projects.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary construction teams and coordinating stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of construction programmes, sequencing, project controls and delivery methodologies.
• Experience managing subcontractors, consultants and specialist contractors.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability.
• Ability to operate effectively in a demanding, fast-paced site environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of major CSA project packages from mobilisation through to completion.
• Take overall responsibility for programme, planning, coordination and delivery of assigned projects.
• Manage and coordinate civil, structural and architectural works across the project lifecycle.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams, including engineers, site management, subcontractors and specialist contractors.
• Coordinate closely with design teams, consultants, clients and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress against programme, budget, quality and contractual requirements.
• Manage subcontractor performance, project interfaces, change control and technical issues.
• Identify and proactively manage project risks, dependencies and potential delays.
• Chair project meetings and ensure actions are effectively tracked and closed out.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with approved designs, specifications, construction methodologies and relevant standards.
• Work closely with commercial and planning teams to manage variations, costs, procurement and programme impacts.
• Provide strong leadership on site, promoting high standards of health & safety, quality and project delivery.
• Produce regular progress reports and provide clear updates to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Mentor and support Project Engineers, Site Managers and other members of the project delivery team.

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking two experienced Senior Project Managers to join a major engineering and construction organisation delivering large-scale, technically complex projects.

These are senior site-based positions with responsibility for the successful delivery of Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) works. We are looking for candidates with a strong engineering background and proven experience managing complex construction projects from planning and mobilisation through to completion.

Requirements

• Experience managing subcontractors, consultants and specialist contractors.
• Strong commercial awareness, including experience with variations, change control and project costs.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability.
• Ability to operate effectively in a demanding, fast-paced site environment.
• A structured and proactive approach to project delivery.
