Job summary

Mane Energy in Dublin is seeking an experienced Senior CSA Engineer to join a Central Engineering team, delivering major projects across the Data Centre, Industrial, Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences sectors.

You will coordinate CSA design packages, lead design meetings, manage interfaces with mechanical and electrical disciplines, and provide technical guidance from development through handover.

Qualifications

• 7+ years post-graduate experience in CSA or related fields.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior CSA Engineer to join a Central Engineering team in Dublin, supporting the delivery of major projects across the Data Centre, Industrial, Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences sectors.

This is a senior technical and design-management position covering Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) disciplines. You will play a key role in coordinating design packages from initial development through procurement, construction and handover, working closely with clients, consultants, engineers, subcontractors and site teams.

The Role

You will be responsible for providing technical leadership and supporting the successful delivery of CSA packages across complex engineering and construction projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing and coordinating CSA design packages through the project lifecycle.
• Developing scopes of work, TIDPs and RACI/R&R matrices.
• Leading design and coordination meetings.
• Coordinating CSA interfaces with mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Reviewing designs for technical compliance, risk and constructability.
• Supporting project planning, procurement and design approval processes.
• Identifying Value Engineering and Off-Site Manufacturing opportunities.
• Reviewing drawings, plans, quantities and technical documentation.
• Monitoring design implementation through site visits and construction support.
• Managing RFIs, design changes, deviations, interfaces and scope gaps.
• Reviewing and submitting technical submittals.
• Preparing technical reports, project documentation and handover packs.
• Providing technical guidance and support to construction teams.
• Supporting tenders and PCSA deliverables.

About You

You will ideally have:

• 7+ years' post-graduate experience.
• Experience within Data Centres, Industrial, Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences.
• Strong design, technical and construction knowledge.
• Experience leading design meetings and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of CSA engineering and construction interfaces.
• Experience reviewing designs for technical compliance and constructability.
• Strong working knowledge of BIM and Revit.
• Excellent stakeholder-management and communication skills.
• The ability to manage multiple design packages and project priorities.

Experience with data centre/mission-critical projects, main contractors, ACC/BIM360, Value Engineering, OSM and multidisciplinary MEP coordination would be highly advantageous.
