Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Process Optimization and Assurance Associate to partner with leaders across Merchant Services, Client Onboarding and Servicing, and Control Management. You will identify opportunities, analyze data, and drive change through executive-ready storytelling to deliver measurable improvements.

The role emphasizes process mapping, documentation, and client-centric onboarding and servicing improvements across the end-to-end lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in Merchant Services onboarding/servicing.
• Attention to detail and adherence to procedures.
• Strong data cleaning and documentation.
• Ability to manage milestones and escalation.
• Experience with risk and control frameworks (CCOR) is a plus.
• Analytical storytelling and executive communication.
• Familiarity with process mapping and workflow documentation.
• Comfort with agile ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Analyze key business processes to identify improvement opportunities and automate to streamline control execution.
• Maintain complete control descriptions and reinforce quality up front.
• Support CCOR reviews, audits, and RFI responses with evidence aligned to procedures.
• Track milestones, escalate as needed, report status, and drive RCA/AAR to closure.
• Drive QC/QA error reduction and verify remediation effectiveness.
• Maintain stakeholder routines (e.g., scorecards, meetings) to show control effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain process maps, workflows, and documentation with clear recommendations.
• Optimize onboarding and servicing models focusing on client-centric execution.
