Job summary

n8n is seeking aSenior Product Leader to own the Core Platform strategy and roadmap. You will guide scalability, reliability, and secure execution, partnering with Engineering and Product leadership to align across the organization. This is a remote-first role across Europe and the US, requiring deep platform experience.

You will drive cross‑team initiatives, communicate complex platform topics clearly, and partner with customers to turn needs into explicit Core Platform work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Product with platform/infrastructure/backend or API focus.
• Ability to reason about non-functional requirements and architecture trade-offs.
• Led cross-team technical initiatives with delivery risk and migrations.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the Core Platform strategy and roadmap with Engineering and Product leadership.
• Prioritize foundational investments based on customer impact, risk, and effort.
• Lead platform discovery with enterprise customers and internal teams.
• Drive scalability and reliability of n8n's execution engine, including worker pools and distributed execution.
• Improve reliability of triggers/execution across complex deployments (multi-cloud, self-hosted).
• Shape secure and flexible code execution approaches within n8n.
• Plan and release major platform versions, including migration strategy, risk management and stakeholder communication.
• Bridge Core with wider org (Product, Sales, Solutions Eng, CS, Support) and translate roadmap needs into Core work.
• Treat internal platform teams as customers, surfacing platform requirements before blockers.
