MCS Group | Your Specialist Recruitment Consultancy partners with a technology‑led organisation investing heavily in its cloud platform and is recruiting a Senior Platform Engineer to help modernise the platform, improve developer experience and build scalable, secure AWS infrastructure.

The role is hybrid, based in Dublin, with a salary up to €100,000 and a superior benefits package. Join a collaborative team, influence technical direction and work with modern cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• Senior-level AWS cloud infrastructure design and implementation.
• Experience with ECS, Docker and container platforms.
• Proficiency with Terraform and IaC.
• CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or equivalent tools.
• Observability with Datadog or similar.
• Scripting in Python or Bash.

You'll be responsible for...

• Designing and evolving AWS cloud infrastructure
• Driving container platforms using AWS ECS and Docker
• Building Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
• Developing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
• Enhancing observability through Datadog
• Creating self-service platform capabilities for engineering teams
• Optimising cloud performance, resilience and cost
