A Dublin-based client is seeking a Senior Platform/DevOps Engineer to work with the Platform team on automation, observability, security and design.

You will lead and mentor mid-level engineers, own deployment quality, and deepen CI/CD pipelines with Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, Python or Go.

This hybrid role offers strong benefits and work-life balance, with two onsite days per week in Dublin.

Senior Platform/DevOps Engineer Dublin/Remote (2 days onsite pw)

My client, based in Dublin City, is a leader in providing technology to Life Science regulatory processes and is continuing to expand its Platform team. They have partnered with IT Search to engage Senior Platform engineers to work alongside Engineering Heads, offer mentoring skills to mid level engineers and work on complex issues relating to automation, observability, business logic, security and design matters.

The role: Develop strong internal relationships with Developers and Quality to improve architecture on an ongoing basis, as well as acting as lead/mentor to mid level engineers Focus on areas such as security at scale, taking ownership of high quality output across deployment and create/manage/amend CI/CD pipelines to a deep level Take a leading role in hands on automation (Python or similar) and Observability processes There will be some involvement in incident response when required Evidence based attitude to work, ability to back up ideas and recognise errors and change course accordingly

Role Requirements: Approximately 10 years of commercial experience in a Platform/DevOps Environment Demonstrable strength around Observability, Automation, deep Pipeline knowledge Ideally have worked in depth with Kubernetes Clusters (maintaining as well as building rather than simply deploying), AWS Services (as a preference), IaC (Terraform ideally), Python/Go on a daily basis for ongoing scripting and automation
