Job summary

Mastercard in Ireland is seeking a Senior Platform Architect to lead the design of scalable internet infrastructure. You will generate requirements with architects and engineering teams and deliver TADs and models to align with security and availability standards.

The role focuses on interface with stakeholders, ensuring high-level requirements are correct, complete and operational. You will drive ongoing modernization and evaluation of new technologies to support global infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of network fundamentals.
• Deep understanding of operating system principles.
• Experience with web middleware.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Generating requirements with architects, engineers and users to ensure all high level requirements are met.
• Generating products such as TADs, technical documents, logical flows and models for alignment.
• Ensuring architectural products stay current and effective.
• Resolve internet architectural and operational problems impacting global availability.
• Researching and evaluating new technology for deployment in Mastercard’s internet infrastructure.
• Lead regional projects including planning, time and cost control, and resources.
