Job summary

Mastercard in Dublin seeks a Lead Platform Architect to provide strategic direction for infrastructure architecture across domains. You will engage early in analysis and design with application teams to ensure security, scalability, and availability standards are met.

You will define target-state architectures, modernization roadmaps for Hybrid and Cloud, lead AI platform design, govern reviews, and mentor engineers through enterprise patterns that guide engineering strategy at scale.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in enterprise infrastructure and cloud architecture.
• Proven track record leading enterprise architecture reviews and TAD development.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on expertise with AI platforms and cloud-native design.

Responsibilities

• Define target-state architectures and modernization roadmaps for hybrid and cloud.
• Lead architecture reviews, design approvals, and governance across CTO, Security, and Engineering.
• Mentor architects and engineers; publish enterprise patterns and reference designs.
• Drive security guardrails, observability, and governance for AI workloads.
