Job summary

CSR Land Planning & Design, trading as Cunnane Stratton Reynolds, invites an experienced Senior Planner to join our Cork office. You will work across residential, commercial, retail, urban regeneration, tourism and infrastructure sectors in a collaborative multi-disciplinary environment.

The successful candidate will lead projects, mentor junior staff, liaise with statutory bodies, and contribute to business growth while utilising Irish planning expertise.

Qualifications

• Over eight years of professional experience in planning.
• Accredited planning qualification with IPI and/or RTPI membership.
• Expert knowledge of Irish planning legislation and regulations.
• Proven proficiency in development planning, feasibility studies, environmental planning, and the preparation and submission of planning applications, appeals and reports.
• Skilled in providing strategic planning guidance for project direction and forward-planning initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing projects from start to finish, coordinating with stakeholders, clients, and team members.
• Creating project plans, managing budgets and ensuring timely delivery of quality services.
• Managing team caseload and ensuring efficient execution of client instructions.
• Liaising with statutory bodies including County Councils and An Bord Pleanála.
• Developing strategies and structures in response to new legislation or policy.
• Representing the company at client meetings and on social media to support business growth.
• Mentoring junior staff for career development within the organisation.
