Job summary

Key Talent Solutions is seeking a Senior Town Planner for an established multidisciplinary consultancy in Ireland. You will work on renewable energy, infrastructure, urban development and environmental projects, taking a senior role in planning applications, consenting strategies and multidisciplinary project delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree and/or Master’s qualification in Town Planning.
• 8+ years of professional town-planning experience.
• Corporate or Chartered membership of IPI or RTPI.
• Strong knowledge of Irish planning and environmental legislation.
• Proven experience preparing and managing significant planning applications.
• Experience with feasibility studies, planning strategies and/or masterplanning.
• Strong client-facing, report-writing and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work from Dublin, Cork or Carlow.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage planning applications for major development projects
• Deliver planning reports, feasibility studies, masterplans and planning strategies
• Provide strategic planning and consenting advice to private and public-sector clients
• Interpret and apply relevant Irish planning and environmental legislation
• Coordinate planning inputs to EIARs and environmental reports
• Lead planning workstreams within multidisciplinary project teams
• Engage with clients, planning authorities, engineers, environmental specialists and other stakeholders
• Manage project deadlines, quality and planning deliverables
• Contribute to proposals and business-development activities where appropriate

Key Talent Solutions is recruiting a Senior Town Planner on behalf of an established multidisciplinary planning, engineering and environmental consultancy in Ireland.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced planning professional to work on some of Ireland’s complex renewable energy, infrastructure, urban development and environmental projects, while taking a senior role in planning applications, consenting strategy and multidisciplinary project delivery.

The Role

You will:

What We’re Looking For

• Mentoring junior planners or progressing toward Associate level
