Job summary

AMD is seeking an experienced Sr. STAFF/STAFF Silicon Design Engineer (PCIe) to verify a PCIe Controller Sub-System. You will drive test plans, build testbenches, and lead verification efforts across cross-functional teams, ensuring high-quality sign-off.

The role involves collaboration with architects and designers, mentoring junior staff, and owning verification flow from planning to closure. Primary Cork with Dublin as a secondary location; hybrid work considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Electronics/Computer/Electrical Engineering with 7+ years DV experience.
• Expert in SystemVerilog and UVM verification.
• Experience with PCIe, SATA, USB, Ethernet, DDR and related interfaces.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; able to mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Verify PCIe Controller verification from test plan to sign-off.
• Collaborate with architects and designers to understand IP features.
• Write, implement, review test plans.
• Develop testbenches and sequences using OO programming and UVM.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical leadership.
• Own verification flow for features and IP interoperability.
