Job summary

A+F Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to join a large, multi-entity payroll team in Ireland. You will own fortnightly and monthly payrolls across entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance with Irish regulations.

You will collaborate with the Payroll Manager, drive process improvements, automate manual tasks and support system upgrades to enhance payroll delivery and controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ payroll experience.
• Strong knowledge of Irish payroll and Revenue requirements.
• Experience working with multiple payrolls/legal entities.
• Strong payroll reconciliation and controls experience.
• Good Excel and systems skills.
• An interest in payroll technology, automation and process improvement.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Processing and overseeing fortnightly and monthly payrolls.
• Reviewing payroll data, calculations, reconciliations and reports.
• Ensuring compliance with Irish payroll legislation and Revenue requirements.
• Managing pensions, medical insurance, BIK and other payroll deductions.
• Preparing payroll journals, accruals and month-end reconciliations.
• Supporting and guiding other members of the payroll team.

• Improving integration between Payroll, HR and Time & Attendance systems.
• Identifying opportunities to automate manual processes and improve efficiency.

I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to join an established payroll team within a large, multi-entity organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional who enjoys taking ownership of complex payrolls while also getting involved in systems, automation and process improvement.

Working closely with the Payroll Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of fortnightly and monthly payrolls across multiple legal entities.
