Job summary

Artemis Human Capital is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Manager in Kilkenny with hybrid working. You will lead payroll operations, manage a team, and ensure accurate, compliant payroll delivery for a diverse client base.

The role offers progression within a collaborative environment that supports development and strategic payroll improvements, including system upgrades and automation. A strong background in Irish payroll and leadership is essential.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of end-to-end payroll experience.
  • Experience in a payroll bureau, outsourced payroll provider or professional services is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish payroll legislation, PAYE, PRSI and Revenue requirements.
  • IPASS qualification (or working towards it) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of multiple payrolls with accuracy and deadlines.
  • Lead, coach and develop a payroll team.
  • Act as main escalation point for complex payroll queries.
  • Build strong client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with Irish payroll legislation and Revenue requirements.
  • Prepare payroll reports and support audit processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement, automation and process enhancements.
  • Support payroll-related projects including system implementations and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities


  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of multiple payrolls, ensuring accuracy, compliance and deadlines are met.

  • Maintain exceptional service standards while managing multiple priorities.


About You

You\'ll be an experienced payroll professional with excellent technical knowledge and proven leadership skills.


You\'ll ideally have:



  • 5+ years\' end-to-end payroll experience.

  • Experience working within a payroll bureau, outsourced payroll provider or professional services environment is highly desirable.

  • Previous experience managing or supervising a payroll team.

  • Strong knowledge of Irish payroll legislation, PAYE, PRSI and Revenue requirements.

  • IPASS qualification (or working towards it) is highly desirable.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
