Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a senior paralegal to support its EMEA asset servicing businesses from Limerick. The role reports to the Assistant General Counsel in Ireland and involves drafting and reviewing a range of documents, coordinating signings, and supporting regulatory and privacy matters.

Ideal candidates will have strong contract drafting and negotiation skills, experience in financial services, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Senior paralegal with experience in financial services or asset management.
• Strong drafting and review skills for complex agreements.
• Proven negotiation abilities and attention to regulatory details.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with practical organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support asset servicing across EMEA, including fund services and global custody.
• Draft, review and negotiate contractual documents (NDAs, intercompany, amendments, terms).
• Prepare execution versions and coordinate signings using Docusign.
• Set matters up in the E-billing platform and assist with internal law-firm invoicing.
• Conduct preliminary legal research to support advice and recommendations; develop AI tools.
