Job summary

Northern Trust in Ireland invites applications for a senior paralegal to support its EMEA asset servicing businesses from Limerick. You will work with the Assistant General Counsel and a global legal team on playbooks, agreements, and regulatory matters.

Key focus areas include drafting and reviewing NDAs and intercompany agreements, managing execution via DocuSign, and helping to develop AI legal agents while maintaining high standards of integrity and professional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Senior paralegal with experience in financial services or asset management.
• Exposure to depositary, fund administration, global custody.
• Strong integrity, commercial/pragmatic sense and client focus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a demanding environment.
• Knowledge of regulatory initiatives impacting fund management/custody.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support across EMEA asset servicing, including fund services and global custody.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts and related documents including NDA, intercompany and amendment agreements.
• Prepare execution versions and manage signatures via DocuSign; coordinate transaction signings.
• Conduct preliminary legal research to support advice and recommendations.
• Help develop and manage AI legal agents.
