Job summary

Realtime Recruitment seeks an experienced Oracle Developer to join its Dublin team on a contract basis. The role is based in Dublin with onsite presence three days per week, focusing on PL/SQL development and Python knowledge.

The successful candidate will design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL queries, tune performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a financial services environment. A strong track record in large-scale Oracle databases is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of Oracle PL/SQL development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle RDBMS (12c+ preferred).
• Experience with ETL tools.
• Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Data modeling and relational database design experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Background in Financial Services or large-scale enterprise environments.
• EU Passport or Stamp 4 visa required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize complex PL/SQL queries, procedures, and packages
• Collaborate with functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements
• Ensure performance tuning and code optimization across Oracle databases
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices
• Support and maintain existing PL/SQL applications
