Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking an experienced Oracle/SQL developer to join our investment technology team in Ireland. You will develop and maintain core Oracle-based solutions, collaborating with U.S. and Irish partners to deliver reliable, scalable data and ETL processes in an Agile setting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Oracle/SQL/PL-SQL, strong data modeling, and experience with PowerBI. Generative AI delivery automation experience is a plus, with a hybrid work model in Citywest Dublin

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience in Oracle, SQL & PL/SQL, data movement, and ETL.
• Strong skills in SQL performance tuning, Agile development practices, and logical data modeling.
• Expertise in PowerBI (preferred), Informatica (a plus), and experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, Artefactory, Sonar).
• Experience with Generative AI for delivery automation.
• Excellent communication, dynamic problem-solving skills, and proven collaboration with distributed teams.

• Deliver consistent, reliable, maintainable, and performance-focused Oracle code.
• Collaborate closely with business and technology partners in Ireland and the US, effectively presenting technology solutions and building relationships across the organization.
• Drive data analysis, data movement, ETL processes, and support end-to-end solution delivery within Agile frameworks.

What's on Offer

• Contract Duration: 11 months.
• Work Model: Hybrid until December 2026, with one week onsite in Citywest Dublin and three weeks remote. From January 2027, the role will transition to full-time onsite working in Citywest Dublin.
