Job summary

Electricity Supply Board (ESB) seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical engineering across onshore wind projects in Ireland and the UK. You will supervise design, feasibility studies, tender documentation, and contract administration, while collaborating with clients, contractors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years in HV power/renewables.
• Proven track record delivering HV substations or renewable projects.
• Experience with D&B or EPC contracts and design reviews.
• Strong safety knowledge including PSDP/PSCS and safety in construction.
• Willingness to travel to the UK and across Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering across feasibility, design, and tender preparation.
• Administer D&B or EPC contracts ensuring compliance throughout life cycle.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, OEMs and internal teams.
• Oversee health and safety and review related docs.
• Mentor junior engineers and develop team capability.
