Job summary

EirGrid is seeking an Offshore Owner’s Engineer on the East Coast to lead project management and project engineering of large, technically complex offshore assets across their full life cycle, from initiation to go live and close. You will ensure on-time delivery, budget discipline and compliance with offshore specifications.

You will issue functional and technical specifications for Phase 1 & Phase 2 projects, liaise with external developers, EPCs, OEMs and operations teams, and drive safe,

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree or equivalent with offshore transmission experience.
• Experience in design, delivery, operation or asset management of high-voltage transmission systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management and engineering of offshore assets through their full life cycle.
• Coordinate with Phase 1 & Phase 2 projects and liaise with external and internal stakeholders to resolve technical queries.
