Job summary

Mace is seeking a senior electrical engineer to lead grid connection and electrical infrastructure workstreams for renewable energy projects within the Owner’s Engineer team in Ireland. You will provide technical oversight, delivery leadership, and commercially aware advice across projects, coordinating design reviews and client communications.

Ideal candidates will have 10–15 years in the power sector, with strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities, and will support pipeline

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree required.
• Approximately 10–15 years in grid connection, electrical infrastructure, or renewable energy projects.
• Proven ability to lead client, contractor and stakeholder interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Deliver grid connection and electrical infrastructure owner’s engineer workstreams for renewables.
• Act as contact for EirGrid and ESB; manage interfaces with system operators.
• Provide senior technical oversight of IPP design, grid connection docs, and commissioning interfaces.
• Manage day‑to‑day client engagement, focusing on risks and outcomes.
• Offer commercially aware design and delivery advice; support pipeline growth.
