Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Security Engineer, Offensive Security, based in Ireland, with a remote-first team. You will perform penetration testing, red-teaming, threat modeling, and exploit development to strengthen cloud and containerized environments, SaaS apps, and AI/ML systems.

You will own recurring offensive testing with external researchers as appropriate, and help advance security roadmaps, monitoring improvements, and secure-by-design practices across products.

Qualifications

• Hands-on offensive security and penetration testing across apps and infra.
• Experience with cloud security in AWS/GCP/Azure and SaaS APIs.
• Proficiency with Burp Suite and OWASP frameworks.
• Ability to develop exploits/POCs and provide actionable remediation guidance.
• Strong communication to explain security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan, scope, and execute penetration tests and red-team engagements across products and services.
• Develop proof-of-concept exploits and document risk-rated findings with remediation guidance.
• Retest vulnerabilities and validate remediation implementation.
• Conduct threat modeling and security reviews across architectures, code, and AI products.
• Build and maintain offensive security tooling and automation to expand testing coverage.
• Collaborate with engineering to implement security controls and Zero Trust practices.
• Support vulnerability management and on-call incident investigations.
• Drive security-by-design through cross-functional partnerships.
