Job summary

Prometric is seeking an Application Security Engineer to join the Information Security team. Remote - Ireland option. You will drive security posture validation, conduct application penetration testing, and manage vulnerabilities across Prometric’s global network.

The role collaborates with development teams on secure coding practices, maintains threat models, and supports DAST/ SAST tooling within a fast-paced environment. Requires 3+ years in cybersecurity and CI/CD familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or related field.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity work experience.
• Experience with DAST/SAST tools.
• Application/product security assurance experience.
• Experience creating threat models for web applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support for the DAST/SAST program and tools.
• Onboard applications and repositories; maintain scan coverage; coordinate remediation with owners.
• Collaborate on application security design and remediation with teams.
• Automate discovery and fixing of issues using security tool stack.
• Support vulnerability management for endpoint security configurations and audits.
• Develop and maintain application security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Create and maintain threat models for core applications.
• Support the responsible disclosure program triage.
• Coordinate with external pentest firms and assessment partners.
