Cheeverstown clinic is a multidisciplinary team of health and social care professionals working in social work, music therapy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, pharmacy, psychology, speech and language therapy and administration.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in occupational therapy from a recognised third level institution.
• Registered with the Occupational Therapy Registration Board (CORU) and maintain annual CORU registration.
• At least three years post-qualification experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a clinical caseload assigned by the OT/physiotherapy manager.
• Prioritise referrals with multidisciplinary team and liaise with primary care colleagues.
• Assess, diagnose and formulate treatment plans for adults referred by the MDT.
• Provide person-centred OT services clinic-based, domiciliary, or day service-based as needed.
• Deliver training for parents, carers, staff and colleagues within the MDT.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to organisational reports.
