Job summary

Qualifications

• It is necessary to possess a diploma or degree in occupational therapy from a recognised third level institution.
• Be registered as an occupational therapist by CORU and maintain annual registration.
• At least three years post-qualification experience in an intellectual disability service.

Responsibilities

• Manage a clinical caseload and liaise with the multidisciplinary team for coordinated care.
• Assess, diagnose, and formulate treatment plans to meet individual needs.
• Deliver person-centred occupational therapy across clinic, domiciliary, or day services.
• Provide training and contribute to falls management and seating clinics.
