Job summary

Orchard Care Group seeks a Registered Nurse (NMBI registered) to take on the role of Person in Charge (Clinical Nurse Manager) for our new nurse-led disability physical and sensory service in Rosslare, Co. Wexford.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of management experience and a track record of delivering high-quality care in health or social care settings, with a focus on compliance with DoH and HIQA standards.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with NMBI registration.
• Minimum 3 years in a management/supervisory role in health or social care.
• Nursing degree at least Level 7.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts when on duty in the service.
• Provide direct care per care plans and protocols.
• Develop individualised care plans and monitor outcomes.
• Train and orient new care team members.
• Maintain accurate care documentation and ensure timely completion.
• Implement quality improvement initiatives and conduct audits.
• Foster a collaborative team environment.
