Orchard Community Care is launching a specialist residential service in Rosslare to support adults with ABI, neurological and physical disabilities. We seek an experienced Registered Nurse to lead clinical care, develop person-centred plans and work within a multidisciplinary team to enhance residents’ independence and quality of life.

You will assess, plan and review care, administer medications, and contribute to HIQA compliance while supporting families and staff in a recently established

Qualifications

• Current NMBI registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 2 years' post-registration nursing experience.
• Experience in neurological, rehabilitation, acquired brain injury, physical disability or long-term care is desirable but training will be provided.
• Strong clinical assessment, care planning and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Person-centred and rehabilitative approach to care.
• Working knowledge of HIQA standards and relevant regulations.
• Full clean driving licence and eligibility to drive in Ireland.

Responsabilités

• Provide and oversee high-quality nursing care for residents with complex neurological, physical and sensory needs.
• Complete nursing assessments and develop, implement and review individualised care plans.
• Administer medication and provide clinical interventions in line with NMBI and Orchard policies.
• Monitor residents' health and wellbeing and respond appropriately to changes in presentation.
• Work collaboratively with families and the multidisciplinary team, including Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech & Language Therapy.
• Promote independence, rehabilitation, community inclusion and quality of life.
• Provide clinical leadership, guidance and support to Care Assistants.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to quality assurance, audits and HIQA compliance.
• Participate in staff meetings, training and on-call/out-of-hours arrangements as required.
