Job summary

Lidl Ireland is seeking a Senior Non Food Planner to join our Buying Team. You will oversee ordering, item selection, market research and seasonal promotions to maximise turnover and ensure outstanding value for customers.

You will lead a team of administrators, coordinate with domestic and international buyers, and contribute to cross-functional projects. This role offers hybrid work with opportunities for growth within Lidl's network.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to strict deadlines.
• Proven track record in developing team members.
• Efficient decision making and organisational skills.
• Confident, persuasive communication skills.
• Experience in demand forecasting for Non Food categories and driving turnover.
• Proficient with Google Workspace tools.
• German language advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Ordering Non Food stock quarterly.
• Choosing new items and reordering repeat items.
• Completing market research and price setting.
• Planning promotions based on seasonality and strategic objectives.
• Managing Non Food products through their sales cycle.
• Providing and checking marketing materials and highlighting USPs.
• Monitoring turnover, margin, write offs, stock level KPIs.
• Collaborating with operations and head office to offer best products.
• Liaising with Buyers domestically and internationally.
• Leading and motivating a team of Non Food administrators.
• Lead and participate in ad hoc projects.
