Job summary

Ibec's Network Manager, Engineering Skillnet in Ireland leads and expands the network to drive workforce development and skills innovation across the engineering sector, delivering high‑impact learning solutions.

Reporting to the Head of Engineering Industries Ireland, the role holds end-to-end accountability for operations, finances, governance, and partnerships with member companies, academia and state agencies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management or operational leadership experience.
• Experience in workforce development and funding programs.
• Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder governance and budgets.
• Full driving license and access to a car for national travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for the Engineering Skillnet network and oversee governance and compliance.
• Lead operations, budget planning, and financial reporting with robust controls.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement across member companies, academia, and state bodies.
• Manage an operations team, programme delivery, events, and digital tools adoption.
