Job summary

The Law Society of Ireland is seeking a Skillnet Network Manager to oversee strategic development, governance, budgeting and programme delivery for Skillnet Ireland funded training. You will work with stakeholders, manage procurement and ensure compliance with funding agreements while supporting staff and driving KPIs.

Role requires flexibility for occasional evenings, weekends, and travel within Ireland, with an 8-month contract reporting to the Acting Head of Law Society Professional Training.

Qualifications

• Experience in legal, professional services, financial services, education, training or skills development sectors.
• Experience working with government-funded or grant-funded programmes.
• Experience in budgeting and financial performance management.
• Knowledge of the Irish legal sector.

Responsibilities

• Assist in strategic and operational development of Law Society Skillnet in line with the network's plan and objectives.
• Provide governance and reporting to the Skillnet Steering Committee with minutes and meetings.
• Manage procurement and contracts for training providers, venues, and services in line with procurement requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Skillnet Ireland funding agreements and policies.
• Deliver end-to-end delivery of Skillnet training programmes and events.
• Promote Skillnet programmes and the Skillnet brand; liaise with Skillnet Ireland.
