Job summary

Ibec is seeking a Senior Executive for Technology Ireland to lead day‑to‑day management of working groups, raise the sector's profile, and recommend strategic actions. You will shape policy positions, engage with senior stakeholders, and drive value for members and the tech community.

The role requires strong leadership, relationship building, and strategic thinking to deliver measurable results for Technology Ireland within the Ibec framework.

Qualifications

• Hold a primary degree in a relevant discipline; postgraduate qualifications would be an advantage.
• Possess good knowledge of the tech sector, policy and regulations.
• Experience in representational, policy or legal capacity is desirable.
• Excellent communication and lobbying skills.
• Track record of advocating and engaging with key decision makers.

Responsibilities

• Lead Technology Ireland’s work programme with the Director to deliver strategic pillars and initiatives.
• Develop and implement the annual work programme with strategic level support.
• Manage cross-organisational projects and initiatives.
• Monitor sector strategy development and ensure delivery of board objectives.
• Represent the industry to key stakeholders and influence policy developments.
