Job summary

SLR Environmental Consulting (Ireland) Ltd seeks an experienced mine water professional to join our Mine Water team in Dublin or via our UK/European offices. The role centers on integrated water management for mining projects, with exposure to feasibility studies, due diligence, ESIA and cross-sector work.

You will lead technically, liaise with clients, support bids and deliver high-quality studies across Europe. Opportunities for international exposure and mentoring are available.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering mine water, hydrology or water resource projects.
• Degree in hydrology, water resources engineering, environmental engineering, geology, or related field; professional registration encouraged.
• Project management and stakeholder engagement including client liaison and workshops.

Responsibilities

• Lead mine water/hydrology projects and provide technical leadership across feasibility studies and ESIA work.
• Manage client enquiries and support bids, workshops and high-quality delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across Environmental/Earth Sciences and Global Advisory.
