Job summary

WSP is seeking an Associate Director – Mine Water & Water Resources to lead mine water, hydrology and water resources projects across the UK and Ireland. Based in any WSP office, you will provide strategic technical leadership, manage multidisciplinary teams and grow client relationships.

The role emphasises governance, business development and delivery of sustainable solutions with a focus on climate resilience and regulatory compliance, across diverse mining projects worldwide.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading mine water, hydrology or water resources projects.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across jurisdictions and project phases.
• Strong client-facing and business development capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across mine water, hydrology and water resources projects.
• Act as technical authority, advising on mining lifecycle challenges.
• Lead development of site models, water balance and flood risk assessments.
• Direct multi-disciplinary teams from feasibility to operation.
• Support climate resilience integration and client relationship development.
