Job summary

Qualifications

• 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in major engineering projects.
• Experience in the design, installation and commissioning of MEICA infrastructure.
• Awareness of Health & Safety and welfare at work requirements during construction and operation.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Project Resident Engineer and Employer’s Representative.
• Liaison with the Site Supervision Teams on each Contract.
• Dealing with contractual matters on-site related to MEICA Works.
• Assessment of Contractor claims and writing reports on same.
• Assessment of Contractor payment applications against work completed.
• Assessment of Contractor performance against Contractual KPIs.
• Review Contractor MEICA design submissions and prepare comments.
• Supervise works, keep records, manage correspondence and documentation.
• Monitor the commissioning of the works and process proving.

Skills

Strong knowledge of the water industry

Familiarity with industry-standard forms of contract

Expertise with P&IDs

Expertise with Electrical Wiring Diagrams

Expertise with Control Philosophy

Expertise with Factory/Site Acceptance Testing

Education

Primary degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
