Job summary

AECOM Ireland Water Team is seeking Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Resident Engineers to join a national programme delivering water and wastewater infrastructure. You will oversee MEICA works, ensure safety and quality and manage commissioning activities across multiple sites in the Republic of Ireland.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, with proven MEICA site supervision experience, knowledge of FIDIC contracts, RAMS reviews and commissioning planning.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• Experience supervising MEICA works on major infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and regulatory standards.
• Knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC) and claims assessment.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-based MEICA infrastructure projects on behalf of Uisce Éireann.
• Ensure safety, quality, environmental, programme and cost requirements.
• Review contractor documentation and performance (RAMS, quality plans, FDS).
• Supervise MEICA construction activities and audit safety and quality.
• Monitor commissioning activities and ensure contractual performance guarantees.
• Administer interim/final accounts and variations under contracts.
• Maintain effective communication with project team and stakeholders.
