The role focuses on leading teams, safeguarding confidentiality, and ensuring high standards of data quality and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will oversee staff, provide training on new systems, manage rosters and timesheets, and coordinate with HIPE, clinical audit and other departments to maintain efficient service delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare records management or data governance.
• Familiarity with HSE Code of Practice for Healthcare Records Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Medical Records team with a focus on confidentiality and data accuracy.
• Train staff on new systems and healthcare record handling.
• Oversee staff attendance, rosters and timesheets.
• Coordinate with HIPE, clinical audit and other departments.
• Manage archiving, file storage and secure onsite storage.
• Provide cover for other Grade V Officers as required.
• Support change initiatives to improve service delivery.
