Job summary

Suretank Group is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design of modular building systems in Dundalk. You will drive DfMA-focused design, coordinate with Sales, PMs, and production, and ensure scalable, manufacturable solutions for client projects.

The role requires strong CAD/BIM skills, 5–8+ years in mechanical design for modular or large-scale architectural systems, and excellent communication to support client interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5–8+ years in mechanical design for modular/off-site projects.
• Proficient in 3D CAD and BIM workflows.
• Experience collaborating with Sales, PMs and production teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and detailing of modular building systems.
• Apply DfMA to minimise waste and standardise components.
• Collaborate with Sales, PMs and Production to align timelines and build prototypes.
