Job summary

Talent-Curve is seeking an experienced Design Manager for its Modular Construction division in Co. Galway.

You will lead design teams, coordinate with internal departments, project teams, consultants and clients to ensure timely, quality designs that meet commercial objectives. The role requires 7+ years in a Tier 1/2 contractor or modular construction, strong Revit and AutoCAD skills, and excellent communication and organisational abilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' design management experience in modular construction or similar.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary design teams.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Experience with modular/offsite construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate design teams within a modular environment.
• Collaborate with project teams, consultants and clients to deliver designs.
• Develop and manage design delivery schedules.
• Mentor and develop design team members.
• Review and approve high-quality structural drawings and technical designs.
• Monitor budgets and support cost management.
• Drive innovation and practical design solutions.
• Ensure designs meet quality, technical and programmatic requirements.
• Lead design meetings and coordinate with other departments.
• Support training on new design processes and technologies.
• Ensure client expectations are met.
