Suretank Group seeks a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design of modular, volumetric systems in its Dundalk team. You will drive advanced 3D modeling, DFMA driven designs, and produce BOMs for factory manufacture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Structural engineering or a highly relevant technical discipline.
• 5–8+ years of dedicated experience in mechanical design, modular builds, OSM or large‑scale architectural cladding systems.
• Proficient in 3D parametric design and BIM workflows across SolidWorks/Inventor and Revit.
• Experience working with Sales, Project Management and production teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design, engineering and detailing of modular building systems and sub‑assemblies.
• Apply Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) principles to minimise waste and optimise assembly time.
• Create production‑ready parametric 3D models and BOMs for factory execution.
• Collaborate with Sales during pre‑contract stages to assess feasibility and costs.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to define engineering timelines and milestones.
• Work with production supervisors to integrate designs with shop floor processes and resolve manufacturing issues.
