Job summary

Suretank Group is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design of modular building systems in Dundalk, integrating DfMA, and coordinating with Sales, PMs and Production to ensure timely, cost-effective fabrication.

The role requires strong 3D modeling skills (SolidWorks/Inventor) and BIM proficiency, with direct client-facing responsibilities and a focus on scalable mechanical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (Level 8) in Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
• 5–8+ years in mechanical design for modular/off-site manufacturing.
• Proficient in SolidWorks/Inventor and BIM workflows (Revit).
• Experience working with Sales, PMs and production teams.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and DfMA of modular building systems.
• Collaborate with Sales, PMs and Production to align timelines and costs.
• Produce BOMs, structural calculations, and shop drawings for fabrication.
• Coordinate with clients and contractors during design reviews.
